quad blog

              Today we are starting a quad blog. It means that our class can communicate to someone else by blogging and such, and that is totally cool man!! Well anyway, our class are blogging in many different countries and that is Virginia, Manchester, and some place in America. We are all excited for that and hope that everything will go as we planned like we can all comment and no difficulties will come, so everybody can enjoy their blogging time!! and I hope, whoever reading this blog, will have a good time too.

               I really enjoyed blogging since it can improve my grammar in english and it can make me have new good friends!! and I would love for you (whoever reading this blog) will come to my blog often as possible as you can so, I can know you much better. AND dont forget to comment! ^^. 
 
               Now, I will talk about my school which is really awesome!! (not that yours, are not. youre school is awesome too ^^) Anyway, we do a lot of events here like, today we just celebrate the father's day here in Thailand by having an entertainment such as dancing Thailand's traditional dance, well I don't know their dance since I am not Thai and some people also wrote some poems or something, and I hope I got picture of it so I can share it to you, but unfortunately I dont (Sorry). The Flood in Thailand

  The flood in Thailand did not affected me that much since the water did not came in my place but I am sorry for those people who was. Anyway, my parents decided that Bangkok is temporary not safe because they taught that the water might be contaminated so, they decided for us to evacuate and went to saraburi, Saraburi is good but we have to pay the Internet about 150 bath for hour and its the truth!! and that is not cool, plus we almost dont have place to stay because all the hotels are fully booked!  Well anyway, my dad volunteered for helping the people who is affected by the flood and I was not there because it was for his work but I really want to be there though. Oh! the place he volunteered to is Ayutthuya. Which is the place where it was affected very badly by the flood. ( I hope the people there are OK)

  

   This flood may affect Thailand by lessening the amount of foreigners going to Thailand since they know that it is flooded and far as I know many people are also going back to there homes because of these. ( When I say people, I mean foreigners, like myself.) But the problem is, most people can't go back home! because airports are also flooded! So I really hope that it will be alright soon, at least it can improve Thailand's floatation devices.

Thailand Flood

    At the time of great sorrow, I am really sorry to hear that about 400 people was killed during the flood. However, I am happy to know that some people are using/showing their great ideas to help
 other people that has been affected by the flood, for them to ease this great burden such as making life-jackets made from empty plastic bottles and improvising flotation devices made from styrofoam blocks to float cars to safety which is pretty smart thing to do and other people are using Internet to know more what to make or what to do during floods. This examples are really helpful, for the people that got affcted by the flood since this can prevent some people that do not know to swim to float and it can also  prevent some of their cars to wreck.

    I myself also found a great idea or examples to add, and that is to build a plastic boat made from recylcling platics or trownaway plastics (not waterbottles) because if people use boats made from woods it cam reduce the amount of woods in Thailand and as many of us know, trees help flood to lessen by absorbing the water, so why not build a plastic boat?

IDENTITY

For identity, I choose to do what you want to do or just be yourself.

I choose this two topic because my book which called "pink angels" reveals my identity because this tells me  that to never do what people want you to do if you dont like it, since this book has 3 main characters in it but I forgot their name, well anyway the 1 other character always boss around her friends and the girls get annoyed by it somethies, yet they cannot say that they dont like what they are doing because these 2 girls are afraid to ruin their friendship, so they just go on with it, and when time goes on they realized that what they are doing is actually fun. Just like me because I always complain (in my thoughts) that I dont really like someone to order me around or saying to do or go that way since I am a free person but later on I noticed that doing something you don't like might be a great experience in your life, that is because, since you didnt like to do something, so you never tried it. That is why it is a great oppurtinity for people to do, what they dont like to do. Also, I did not finish the book yet so I dont know  the whole story, these are just a brief information.

Now, I am going to talk about, just be yourself, since based in Verdi book, the main character doesnt want to change and want his yourger self to stay forever in order to not be the same as the boring and rude snakes that he knew, however he still grow up, even though he tried many things to not get older but he noticed that eventhough he got older he still himself and nothing can change that. It is just like me because I always thought that I am not that fun to talk to and tried to be talktive as much as possible ( back in the phillipines)  but people sometimes got anoyed by it , however back when i am quite people usually befriends with me and talk to me a lot eventhough I am silent/ or do not talk much so I realized that I should be my old and not talkative self since that way I am much more peaceful and comfortable for what I am and it is still me no matter what i do. So, better be just myself then.

Metacognition

What did I noticed for toda'ys metacognition lesson?
Well I noticed that even just seeing the picture that Ms. Torie gave us, we as a partners came up with a lot of things, an interesting stuffs actually like I dont know that in the picture where there's a soccer team, that there is a goalie. I also noticed that we have to think more to came up with good ideas or what we are thinking.

What was hard together with your partners?
Actually, there is nothing hard  between us partners because we communicate very well to each other and  we each understand what we are trying to say to, which is a very good thing.

How might metacognition helps you as a student?
   It helps me in reading because using this tactics I can visualized or know more about what am I thinking, as a reader, plus it also helps me understand the book I am reading.

What did you learn?
I learn that small thing can be bigger things, too. In other words not easy subject can always be easy.  I said this words because when we are trying to know what we know in the picture (soccer team), I thought that it would be easy, but when my partner said somethings about the picture it made me realized the things that I didn't know or see about. So thats what I learn in this lesson.
