Courage.

For my opinion,  courage is something we developed or produced not born with. For example you are climbing a mountain even though your are afraid, you still kept moving forward because you want to overcome your fear. After, you overcome your fear you became courageous then you will feel better, mentally or physically stronger, and do more things that you are afraid to do. As just  Edward Vernon Rickenbacker  said “Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.”.

Yet, developing courage is a very slow progress since sometimes you do not face you fear and just let it be or you think about negative ways that will happen when you do it, in order words you are afraid of rejection. Like, I developed my courage because I talk to some people and face my fear, and now I am slowly advancing my way to more social life.

Confidence also comes with facing courage since when you face courage you overcome your lack of confidence. There is a lot of explaination of why confidence is such as big deal to human life. Such as society makes us doubt ourselves and that  makes our courage rise or lower. Our courage will rise because when we question ourselves we are more aware that we should not be the one who will change but the people or  society should. In other words we are thinking more positively than negatively which is a type of moral courage. It will be lower because it lets our self-esteem lower that makes us shy which also lowers our courageous development. Taking action can be virified to ourselves that our decrease of our confindence was based on opinion not reality.

You can developed courage whether it is physical, social, moral, intellectual, and spiritual courage. The progression of courage can happen all the time.

  1. Hey Roxane, I'm Kelly from the other class. In case you don't know.
I personally really like the way you organized your blog post. You divided the things you want to say into different categories. This really prevents the readers from being confused by your information. You also specifically talk about how courage develops, and this really helps to support your opinion. Overall, you did a great job with your blog post. Still, you might want to check some grammar before you publish it. I have no intention to insult you, so if you feel offended I apologize.
